Scott developed a love for baseball at a young age. In 1982-84, he was a member of the Ft. Collins area legion team, earning two state titles. He played middle infield, specializing at shortstop. His play at shortstop during his high school years also earned him all conference honors.

In 1989, Scott earned a business degree from the University of Northern Colorado and he began a career as a Mortgage Broker that has now continued for 35 years, He also began a competitive softball career that spanned twelve years. During this time, Scott’s family started, and he got the opportunity to start coaching his son Ryan.

The Mile High Vipers were a formidable opponent, winning multiple tournaments and titles. Scott’s emphasis with his young players was always focused on solid fundamentals, knowing every detail about the game, and doing all of the “little things” exceptionally well. His coaching career with the Vipers spanned more than a decade.

Scott has a passion for developing talent and helping players thrive.  HIs love for the game carries over to every moment on the field. He is excited about this new chapter with the Northside Dirt Devils.
